Darya Bernard is a versatile Black female filmmaker and photographer working across music video, narrative film, documentary, sports, and editorial fields. She is process oriented, rooted in practical craft with a sensibility shaped by analog photography, fast-paced production, and blends of traditional and unconventional handcraft. In a world encouraging automated creativity, Darya is committed to preserving human artistry in critical tandem with emerging technologies. She received her BFA in Media Arts from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. In her free time, Darya enjoys exploring analog photography processes, traditional art, and fiber arts (crochet).
